Erin Oliff Culpepper, Bellemount’s lead instructor, has over twenty years experience in the horse industry. Growing up, Erin competed in the Capital Horse Show Association, the Virginia Horse Association, and the American Horse Show Association, bringing home many championships.
As a young adult, Erin rode for the College of William and Mary Equestrian Team in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. Erin went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Virginia and is a certified teacher in the state of Virginia. Erin is also certified by NARHA as a therapeutic riding instructor.

As a riding instructor and horse trainer, Erin effectively combines her love of teaching with her love of horses. Erin is a member of the American Riding Instructors’ Association, the Battlefield Horse Show Association, the Virginia Horse Show Association, the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, and several breed associations.
Erin’s students range from beginner to advanced hunt seat riders and have experienced many successes at shows at the local and state level.
